Chicken nuggets recalled due to salmonella contamination

President’s Choice brand Pub Recipe Chicken Nuggets are the latest food added to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s recall list – due to possibility of salmonella contamination.

The uncooked, breaded cutlets are in an 800gm package with the code 2018 MR 15, UPC 060383 13171 5

The Loblaw Companies product was distributed nationally.

If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, call your doctor.

Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.

Food contaminated with Salmonella may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Young children, pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems may contract serious and sometimes deadly infections. Healthy people may experience short-term symptoms such as fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps and diarrhea. Long-term complications may include severe arthritis.
