Shannon Helm, of the Portabella Bistro, draws the winning ticket on a $400 Christmas Basket, donated by Don and Roy, of Portabella. Fran Renoy, right, representing the Loyalist Humane Society, was appreciative of receiving the shelter’s portion of the $2,300 raised with ticket sales.
The lucky winner of the basket was Wilma Bosma, of Belleville.
Sales also benefited Prince Edward Community Living. The Christmas Basket draw is an annual fundraiser with all of the items in the basket of local origin – including seven bottles of County wine and a $100 Portabella gift certificate.
