Picton’s Portabella Bistro is once again holding a draw for a Christmas basket with the proceeds being donated to the Loyalist Humane Society and Community Living. Over the last eight years $15,000 has been raised for these causes. The basket valued at $500 contains eight bottles of County wines and other products purchased locally. The toy wooden train was crafted and donated by Don Metcalfe. Tickets are on sale at the Portabella until Dec. 23rd when the draw will take place. The cost is $2 per ticket or three for $5.
