Local radio personality, Freddy Vette, from CJBQ 800, hosted the Thursday night cruise event in Picton while broadcasting live for his evening radio show.
“This is the first of many cruise nights we’ll be at this year,” said Vette. “We’ll be at all the cruise nights in the region in the coming weeks.”
Vette’s daily 50s radio show has been a popular tune-in for CJBQ listeners for the past three years.
Picton Cruise Nite hosts Darlene and Laverne Bailey were thrilled with the exceptional turn-out and thank Freddy Vette and all the wonderful people who came out and shared a night of great cars and 50s Rock and Roll.
Picton Cruise Nite is held every Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Canadian Tire parking lot until the Thanksgiving weekend.
