County man died while hunting

David Hass, 37, of Ameliasburgh died Saturday, Nov. 8 as a result of an incident while hunting at Elwoods Road, Palmer Rapids, northeast of Bancroft.
Killaloe OPP and The Renfrew County Crime Unit responded to calls at approximately 3pm.
An investigation is being conducted in conjunction with the Ministry of Natural Resources.
The son of Elwood and Linda Hass, David is survived by his wife Amanda and two children. Visitation has been set for Thursday at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, Schutt Road, Palmer Rapids on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral is set for Friday at 11 a.m. at the church.
