County resident dies following off-road vehicle incident

A 65-year-old Prince Edward County resident was pronounced deceased following an off-road vehicle incident.
Central Hastings OPP and first responders were called to a trail, north of Cleveland Road in Tudor and Cashel Township April 7, shortly before 3:30 p.m. A side-by-side off-road vehicle had left the trail and had rolled over in deep water.
Officers and Madoc Township firefighters were able to free the man from the vehicle and Hastings-Quinte Paramedics were at the scene. The male, identified as a 65-year-old from Prince Edward County, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
