County retirees get official pat on the back

It was a night to recognize and appreciate municipal retirees for a job well done. Prince Edward County council awarded a handful of former employees with certificates of appreciation for their years of dedicated service Tuesday night. Retired County commissioner of the parks and recreation Barry Braun, was one of the recipients recognized for his 13 years of service in the community.
Rose Mary Bedard, Clinton Carter, Stephen Cowan, Linda Harrison and Peter Wager received appreciation awards as well.
