County man killed in County Road 17 accident

UPDATE: The deceased has been identified as Joshua Heisie, 30, from Prince Edward County.
As a result of the investigation, charges are not anticipated. County Road 17 has been fully reopened.
UPDATE JAN 25: Prince Edward County OPP responded at 4:29 p.m. with Hastings Quinte EMS and Prince Edward County Fire and Rescue to a collision involving a passenger vehicle and a propane truck.
One person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation is continuing and County Road 17 remains closed between County Road 8 and Lucks Crossroad.
JAN 25 – County Road 17 between County Road 8 and Lucks Crossroad was closed to all traffic, following a serious accident late Saturday afternoon.
The road is expected to remain closed for six hours.
Traffic can go around the closure using Lucks Crossroad or Miller Road.
