With the need so great, especially at this time of year, the Prince Edward Federation of Agriculture (PEFA) joined forces with Scotiabank support two Prince Edward County food banks. The Wellington Storehouse Foodbank and the Picton United Church Food Bank each received a $625 donation ahead of the holidays.

“The local agricultural community prioritizes giving back to those in need and recognizes the impact of food banks and the many individuals that rely on them,” said Resi Walt, PEFA member service representative. “We are proud to do so.”
