Drugs, weapons seized in seaches

Prince Edward County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of the Belleville and Kingston Police Services, executed four search warrants simultaneously at different locations, Thursday.
Police report a large amount of controlled drugs and substances were seized including, but not limited to, approximately four ounces of crystal meth, 15 grams of cocaine and a number of hydromorphone and codeine pills. The total amount of drugs seized represents an approximate street value of $15,000. Items located also included a 12-gauge shotgun, taser, crossbow, and a stolen Correctional Services of Canada badge and identification.
Five people, three females and two males ranging from 29 to 42 years of age have been charged:
A 38-year-old man from Picton and Kingston is charged with 18 different offences including; trafficking of a schedule 1 substance, possession of weapons for dangerous purpose and other drug and firearms related offences;
A 32-year-old woman from Kingston is charged with two counts of possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking, and unauthorized possession of a weapon;
A 33-year-old woman from Belleville is charged with 4 different offences including; possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose for trafficking, and unauthorized possession of a firearm;
A 42-year-old man from Belleville is charged with possession of a schedule 1 substance;
A 29-year-old Picton woman is charged with 3 different offences including; possession of schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
All five individuals have upcoming court appearances in Picton and Belleville.
