Earth moved in PEC – 5.1 magnitude event near Shawville, QC

Some felt the earth move this morning in Prince Edward County locations – as well as eastern Ontario and southern Quebec.
Update from Earthquakes Canada reports a magnitude 5.1 earthquake occurred 21 km NE of Shawville, QC, at 9:43 a.m. Original report was detecting automatic seismic event magnitude 4.8 Friday at Braeside, near Pembroke and another, of 4.2 magnitude at 9:53.
Social media abuzz with comments “I felt It” from Toronto through to Ottawa.
“Yes I did..my dog even noticed..my liquor cabinet rattled!,” said one countylive Facebook friend.
Countylive.ca’s fireplace rattled as if there were a small animal inside.
