Expect delays at Brighton swing bridge

Work is resuming at the Brighton Road Swing Bridge – spanning the Murray Canal on Cty Road 64 connecting Prince Edward County to Quinte West.
Monday, contractors will be at the County Road 64 structure southeast of Brighton over the next few weeks.
What to expect:
· March 18 to March 29 – intermittent bridge swings, lasting up to 15 minutes, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
· April 1 to April 12 – potential closures of up to four hours, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
· April 15 until further notice – intermittent bridge swings, lasting up to 15 minutes, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
