Fire in storage barn on County Road 1

Prince Edward County Fire and Rescue brought a barn fire under control quickly Tuesday night. The fire is not considered suspicious, and the cause remains under investigation.
Crews were called at about 9:30 p.m. to a fire in a storage barn on County Road 1, near Consecon.
Damage was contained to the building and is estimated at $360,000.
The OPP, Hasting Quinte Paramedic services and Hydro One were also on scene.
There were no injuries.
