UPDATE: Snow squall watch! Bitterly cold west winds will result in squalls with snowfall amounts to 10 to 15cms with very low to nil visibility likely in bursts of heavy snow and blowing snow.

Flash freeze and wind chill warnings are in effect for Prince Edward County. School buses were cancelled and the Glenora Ferry is not running due to a power outage.
Rain is expected to change to flurries this morning with wind gusting to 60-80 km/h.
Temperatures will fall to -9C this afternoon and the wind is expected to pick up tonight to 70-90 km/h. The low of -19 will feel like -33.
Environment Canada predicts clearing Tuesday morning with wind gusting 70-90 km/h.
By Wednesday, expect a mix of sun and cloud, flurries and blowing snow.
