Four arrests in Picton home invasion

Three youth and one adult are in custody following a home invasion Friday, Dec. 14 around 5 p.m.
Prince Edward Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a home invasion in progress on Elk Street in Picton.
Police learned three youth and one adult made entry into a home on the street and assaulted a male resident inside.
PEC OPP Cst. Patrick Menard reports the four fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
“Police located the reported vehicle minutes later and arrested two of the accused parties,” he said. “The other two parties were located and arrested later that evening.”
Menard reports the male resident received non-life threatening injuries and all four accused have been held for bail. The investigation is on-going.
