Free your spirit with creative dance

Anybody who loves to move to music and wants to feel the connection with mind, body and spirit, is welcome to Art in Motion, a community program of creative dance sponsored by the Prince Edward Arts Council.
“This meditative dance experience is a very personal expression of ourselves,” says Myrna Mather. “The freedom to express creativity and imagination through movement enriches our inner sense of wellness. As we move within a space that is safe, without a criticc, or a judge, we are offered a holiday, a time-out, from the many imposed responsibilities we adhere to every day.”
The dance is loosely based on the work of Gabrielle Roth (see video above).
Participants are welcome every first and third Tuesday from 6-8p.m. at the Parish Hall behind St. Mary Magdalene Church. A fee of $5 per session will cover the cost of renting the hall. Bring your own water bottle and wear whatever feels comfortable.
For more information, contact Jutta Naim at 613-476-6095 or Myrna Mather at 613-476-4008.
