Full house for final submissions on wpd turbine project

A full house for summary arguments for the White Pines industrial wind turbine remedy hearing in Wellington this morning. This is to be the final day of the Environmental Review Tribunal hearing regarding the Renewable Energy Approval for the White Pines project for 27 industrial turbines on the south shore of Prince Edward County. The Tribunal is to hear oral submissions from APPEC, John Hirsch and the proponents to address the proposed “remedy” measures to harm that will be inflicted on the Little brown bat and the Blanding’s Turtle.
