Glenora Ferry service resumed Dec. 17

UPDATE DEC. 17: The ramp work has been completed and regular service has resumed today, Dec. 17.

UPDATE DEC. 10 – Glenora Ferry users please note that due to weather conditions the repairs and shutdown scheduled for Dec 11,12 have been changed to Dec 16, 17 from 1000h to 1500 h.

  • The ferry will not be in operation from 10 am to 3 pm both days.
  • The disruption is required for structural repairs under the Adolphustown ramp.
  • The disruption has been rescheduled due to weather conditions.

UPDATE: Back in service

UPDATE 2PM: Ferry remains out of service. Strong north east wind is making docking at Glenora unsafe due to large swells.

DEC. 9: The Glenora Ferry between the County and Adolphustown is out of service due to a ramp malfunction shortly after 9 a.m. Monday morning. It was scheduled to be repaired Wednesday and Thursday.

It will not be back in service until further notice.

 

DEC. 6: The Glenora Ferry will be out of service Wednesday, Dec. 11 and Thursday, Dec. 12 while structural repairs are completed under the Adolphustown ramp.

The ferry will not be in operation from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days.
