Dave Hatch celebrated his 50th birthday with a good, old-fashioned Horn Trip motorcycle ride Saturday. More than 50 friends from the County and across Ontario met at the Picton fairgrounds with their favorite set of wheels to embark on a scenic afternoon ride through Prince Edward County. In honor of his birthday, participants paid $20 in support of Hospice Prince Edward and raised $1595. The local Hospice provides compassionate end-of-life care, free-of-charge to patients who are palliative or are facing a life-limiting illness.
Hopice Prince Edward provides special Celebration Kits for those who wish to support the program at their birthday, wedding shower /anniversary, class reunion or family barbecue. Celebration donation gifts will help to enhance the care, comfort and training of those who matter most – clients and volunteers of Hospice Prince Edward. For details on the Special Celebration Kits, contact Hospice Prince Edward at: 613-476-2181 x 4253 or email: wcarruthers@hospicepe.com
