Health unit move on Sept. agenda

The relocation of the Picton Health Unit office will be discussed at the Sept. 2 meeting of Hastings Prince Edward Public Health, in Belleville.
The organization hopes to vacate its space at 74 King Street in Picton (former Gazette office) when the lease expires at year end.
A possible site includes re-location to an office at the Prince Edward Family Health Team clinic located in the PEC Innovation Centre at the bottom of the Town Hill.
The Picton office looks after immunizations, water testing, travel and sexual health clinics and tick collection.

Why move to the PEC Innovation Centre? It could end up being another move at a later date when the site is redeveloped.
