Help Wanted: Grounds Supervisor (seasonal position)

Glenwood Cemetery requires an experienced grounds maintenance person working under minimal direction to participate actively in and oversee outside work needed in a 62 acre cemetery. Reporting to the Cemetery Manager, the job requires: proven ability to lead a small grounds team including ensuring appropriate occupational safety standards are observed; physical and mechanical ability and skills to operate and maintain small machinery (e.g., chain saws, tractors, mowers, backhoe) as well to undertake minor building projects, e.g., pour small concrete foundations. Requires basic ability to use computers, write factual reports, work within an assigned budget as well as an understanding of need for proper dress and willingness to learn basic rules governing cemetery operations. Criminal reference check required. Wages commensurate with education and experience.
