Olivia Adlam, 8, won first place in the bubble blowing contest at Hillier Park Day. The Toronto resident was delighted to take home the contest’s prize. She was on holidays visiting family in Wellington.

A full day of play, games, food and live music for Hillier’s annual free-admission family event.
Pop over to meet balloon artist, Christopher the Twistopher; hop on your bicycle for Constable Kim Guthrie’s Bike Rodeo, stop for a quick Carlotta Face Painting on your way to Kristie’s Petting Zoo.

The Superhero Costume Contest (all ages), Silent Auction, Dunk-a-Duke Tank, Carnival Game Alley, and The Kid Zone features a supervised climbing wall, bouncy castle, and art table. Cool off in the Wall of Water courtesy of hoses manned by the Firefighters (bring bathing suits & towels!)
Enjoy live music by Grampa’s Goodtime Gang followed by the Open Mic Talent Show (bring your info!) featuring Caleb and Meg Hutton of “Instant Rivalry” fame. With food on Gourmet French Fries, and the Firefighter’s BBQ!
