Rainy weather held off for boaters in the Paddle for Paws Poker Run on Saturday. Approximately 25 paddlers, plus Charlie (below), took to the water from the McFarland Conservation Area on Glenora Road.
The day also featured a Dragon Boat demonstration and prizes. Kerry Ford won a life jacket for her poker hand of triple 8’s.
More than $600 was raised for the Loyalist Humane Society. Click here to meet some of the society’s residents.
