Hospice Prince Edward has launched its new website at www.hospiceprinceedward.ca
The non-profit, non-denominational organization provides free-of-charge palliative and bereavement support to families and individuals of all ages in Prince Edward County.
Nancy Parks, Executive Director, said the process to upgrade the web site started a few months ago with the assistance of Anne VanVlack of Infolink Web Site Development.
“Anne was very helpful in mentoring us through this process. Her guidance and suggestions were invaluable and we now have a wonderful, informative website.”
Hospice Prince Edward has been supporting individuals and their families facing life-limiting and terminal illnesses as well as providing bereavement support since the early 1990s.
“The website will go a long way toward keeping our community informed and up-to-date with current information about our Hospice. Developing this new web site was indeed a community effort” she said. “We enlisted the help of many people in our community including a palliative and bereavement client, family members of a client, several of our volunteers and people who have never been involved with Hospice services. The result is a site that is informative and is an extension of our service to our community.”
