Hospital Auxiliary crafters help OPP to keep County kids warm

The Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Craft Group has again this year continued with its tradition of crafting handmade items for the OPP Keep Kids Warm campaign. This year the group presented 354 hats and mittens to the to local detachment.
Each year, the Keep Kids Warm program is run by the PEC OPP, Belleville Police, Central Hastings OPP and Stirling Rawdown Police Services, in conjunction with the local CAS Angel Campaign, the Storehouse Food Bank in Wellington and the Salvation Army, to assist low income working families and those on assistance with new winter outerwear for children.
