Huff Estates wins six Canadian Wine medals

Huff Estates winery has won six Canadian Wine awards medals.
The Wine Access Canadian Wine Awards are held annually, and have grown in size, success, and national reputation since they began in 2001.
Each year, Canada’s leading wine experts evaluate more than 1000 wines from across the country, and present awards in nearly two dozen categories. Judges include leading wine writers, journalists, sommeliers, buyers and industry professionals.
Wines are blind-tasted and judged in categories according to varietal or style, not by region, using a 100-point system. Judging is overseen by Wine Access editor-in-chief Anthony Gismondi and David Lawrason, founder of Wine Access.
Judging is held in August and results were just sent via email to each winning winery. Full results are published in the December/January Wine Access issue and online at wineaccess.ca, and in the Canadian Wine Annual.
Huff Estates, at the corner of Hwy 62 and County Road 1, was founded in 2002 and officially opened its doors in 2004. www.huffestates.com
