Tom Wilson is a three time multi-gold record awarded Canadian musician. The songs he has written have been recorded by Sarah McLachlan, Colin James, Lucinda Williams, Billy Ray Cyrus, Mavis Staples, The Rankin Family as well as his own band Junkhouse, who scored eleven Top Ten hits; and Juno-winning Blackie and the Rodeo Kings (one of Wilson’s songs was widely publicized for its presence on George Bush’s iPod). His most recent incarnation, Lee Harvey Osmond, has received extensive airplay throughout the United States and as a result has been on tour in the United States for the last two years.

Reviews

“[Lee Harvey Osmond] have created something close to an Americana masterpiece here. Every track a gorgeous subtle gift, heavily reliant on deep but restrained tight addictive grooves, intriguing stories and melodies.”
– Americana UK

“In an ideal world, a band should have a catchy name, a distinct sound and ear-snaring songs. LeE HaRVEY OsMOND has all three, all shown to great effect on the Ontario group’s debut disc A Quiet Evil.”
– Vancouver Sun

“Creeping across your floor like a demented banshee on downers, the collective LeE HARVeY OsMOND is certainly a psychedelic beast of another stripe. The product of Tom Wilson from Blackie & The Rodeo Kings, a few Cowboy Junkies and some Skydiggers, A Quiet Evil is the collective’s first release, and it is a wily captive indeed.”
– Hour.ca

“With a career that stretches back three decades, Tom Wilson remains one of Canada’s most prolific and talented songwriters. Since his days as a guitarist and vocalist for bands such as Florida Razors, Blackie & The Rodeo King and Junkhouse — and as a prolific songwriter for artists such as Billy Ray Cyrus and Mavis Staples — Wilson continues to make unexpected career moves. His most recent project, LeE HARVeY OsMOND, finds him concocting hazy acid-folk with members of Cowboy Junkies, The Skydiggers and The Sadies.”
-WXPN

“…The clips were attributed to Lee Harvey Osmond, and careful observers may have noticed that the static guitarist was Tom Wilson. Or maybe they didn’t. Anyone who has followed Wilson through his various incarnations – leading the Canadian grime-rock outfit Junkhouse, releasing a series of solo projects, and most recently playing with Blackie & the Rodeo Kings – would be forgiven for failing to recognize Wilson in a state of stasis. It’s rare for him to be the immobile center of anything; he is an uncommonly active musician who thrives on making music just as surely as he resists falling into a single, easily digested identity.”
– Paul Cantin, No Depression
