Kids of Steel swim, bike and run

Rain threatened, but the sun burst through a cloudy sky Sunday for 178 athletes who swam, biked and ran in the County’s annual Kids of Steel triathlon.
The competition, hosted by the Prince Edward Fitness and Aquatic Centre, is designed to offer athletes between the ages of six and 17 the opportunity to experience the sport of triathlon in a positive environment. The distances are much shorter than those in adult triathlons, and change as participants mature. Most kids are fit enough to finish a KOS triathlon successfully and have fun at the same time.
