The Knatty Knitters are once again helping to make Christmas a little bit cozier for patients spending the holidays in hospital.
For the third consecutive year, the Knatty Knitters have donated handmade with love lap blankets for patients. The group of seven volunteers also knit blankets, hats, and other items to donate to local nursing homes and hospitals.
Mary Brett and Arlene deBourbon, on behalf of the Knatty Knitters, presented Lisa Mowbray, manager of patient services and site lead at QHC PECMH and Briar Boyce, senior development officer with the PECMH Foundation with 18 handmade knitted blankets.
The blankets will be gifted out on Christmas Eve to the patients on the 2 South Inpatient Unit.
