The Knatty Knitters are again helping make Christmas a little bit cozier for the patients spending the holidays at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital (PECMH) and Trenton Memorial Hospital (TMH).

For the fifth consecutive year, the group’s members have donated handmade lap blankets for patients. This year, they expanded their efforts to provide blankets for patients at Trenton. The volunteers also knit blankets, hats and other items to donate to local nursing homes.

Mary and John Brett, on behalf of the Knatty Knitters, presented the team at PECMH with 23 handmade knitted blankets and 33 blankets for the patients at Trenton.

The blankets are to be gifted to patients on Christmas eve.
