Prince Edward County’s Knatty Knitters are once again helping to make Christmas a little bit cozier for the patients spending the holidays at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital (PECMH).

For the fourth consecutive year, the Knatty Knitters have donated handmade with love lap blankets for patients in hospital. The group of seven volunteers knit blankets, hats, and other items to donate to local nursing homes and hospitals.

Mary Brett and Arlene deBourbon, on behalf of the Knatty Knitters, presented Lisa Mowbray, manager of patient services and site lead at PECMH and Briar Boyce, senior development officer with the PECMH Foundation with 23 knitted blankets.

The blankets donated to PECMH will be gifted out on Christmas Eve.
