Library moving forward with curbside books and County Reads debate
Administrator | May 21, 2020 | Comments 1
Prince Edward County Library branches are now offering curbside pickup from all branches (Ameliasburgh, Bloomfield, Consecon, Milford, Picton and Wellington).
It is as simple as browsing the library website at peclibrary.org, or phoning your local branch and leaving a message.
The library will call back to take requests and will call when the items are ready for pick up.
Returns will also be accepted.
The Prince Edward County Public Library County Reads event, through a partnership with 99.3 County FM will be heard in 2020!
The popular event will be broadcast Sunday, May 24, after the news at noon!
Ken Murray will return to moderate and Lynn Pickering will host.
Shannon Coull will defend A Girl Named Lovely by Catherine Porter; Richard Johnson will defend Bush Runner by Mark Bourrie; Joan McBride will defend Woo, The Monkey Who Inspired Emily Carr by Grant Hayter-Menzies; and Duncan Payne will defend The Marrow Thieves by Cherie Dimaline. This promises to be a lively and engaging debate!
