Belleville author Shawna Carter visited the children’s room of the Picton branch of the County of Prince Edward Public Library & Archives Tuesday morning to read from her newest book, Lil’ Creepers Winter Shenanigans. Featuring a cast of unusual characters, including one based on her daughter Brenna, the Lil’ Creepers series also includes a cookbook and a picture book for younger readers.
An engaged audience of Grade 2/3 students from Ms. Hymus’s class from Queen Elizabeth school enjoyed the reading and asked interesting questions about the book and the illustrations.
