Local Ice Wine Skaters uncork gold

The local Ice Wine Synchronized Skating Team brought home gold medals this weekend from the provincial level Synchro Capers Competition in Oakville Saturday.
Ice Wine received personal best scores of 33.90 and 32.82 to put them in first place in the Adult II Silver Final.
Ice Wine Synchro is the only adult competitive team in the area, with skaters representing Quinte and Prince Edward and Hastings counties. Their home club is the Prince Edward County Skating Club. They skate weekly at the ESSROC Arena in Wellington. The team greatly appreciates and thanks several local businesses who offer their support.
The team is coached by Melissa Baldwin, choreographed by Jodi Jones and managed by Merry Tinsley.
