After a busy winter of collecting for his charity Many Happy Returns’ the County’s David Hepburn is catching up on his donations.
Hepburn is a resident of a local group home, operated by Community Living. With the help of staff, family and friends, David travels throughout the County stopping at local residences to pick up returnable bottles that might otherwise end up in recycling.
Last year he contributed $100 to Community Living PrinceEdward, 99.3 County FM, Picton Food Bank and the Hospital Foundation. This year he has donated to a fund set up to assist Abigail Heffernan, a PECI student battling cancer, and this past week, he presented the Picton Splash Pad project with a $100 donation.
Anyone wishing to contribute returnable cans or bottles can contact Many Happy Returns for a pick up by going to David Hepburn’s Facebook page or by phoning 613 968-0181.
