Model Ts tour the County

Two dozen Ford model Ts from the Campbellford area visited the County on the weekend. These two were on a stop Wellington beach. The owner of the 1920 pickup said they can drive at 35mph. The Model T was produced by Ford from 1908 to 1927 and was the first Ford with all its parts built by the company itself. Selling for $850, it was considered a reasonable value. It’s estimated that some 60,000 Ford Model Ts are still around today with about 50,000 road-worthy. – John Ferguson photo
