Nominations open for school ‘Great Place Awards’

Do you know someone who contributes to student achievement and well-being, and makes Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board “A Great Place to Learn and A Great Place to Work!” by going the extra mile? Consider nominating them for a Great Place Award.
Great Place Awards are the highest form of recognition within Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board. They honour and celebrate individuals or groups who have made a significant contribution to student achievement.
Nominations are accepted for students, employees, parents/guardians, volunteers and community partners—essentially anyone who makes a positive difference in students’ educational experiences or lives.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, May 1, 2015 at 4:30 p.m. Complete details and nomination forms are available online.
Awards will be presented at the public Board meeting on Monday, May 25 2015, at 7p.m., at the Education Centre, 156 Ann Street, Belleville. Award winners and nominators will be notified in advance.
