Opening weekend for OMHA playoffs

Players, families, friends and fans of Prince Edward County Kings are gearing up for opening weekend of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association playoffs.
“The goal for each of these teams to win an All-Ontario Hockey Championship for Prince Edward County,” said Darren Marshall, president of the Prince Edward County association.
Marshall invites the public to the arenas in Picton and Wellington this weekend to cheer on the players and promote the County’s hockey program.
“The more people in the arenas to support our teams, the more excited the kids get to play the game they all love,” he said. “The playoffs are an exciting time for the kids, coaches, and families as they’ve all worked very hard and dedicated many hours of their time during the regular season to succeed in the playoffs.”
The action begins Friday and continues through Sunday. Schedule below:
