OPP arrest driver involved in fatal rollover

A 27-year-old Picton man has been charged with impaired driving causing death in relation to a single vehicle rollover Dec. 20th, 2014 on County Road 12 at West Lake.
A silver Nissan 350Z, two-door had rolled and crashed into a tree at approximately 12:50 a.m. A 30-year-old Picton man, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. As a result of further investigation by the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators, the Prince Edward OPP arrested the driver o Feb. 28, 2015. He was charged with:
· Impaired Driving Causing Death, contrary to Section 255(3) of the Criminal Code of Canada and
· Operation with Over 80mgs of Alcohol Causing Death, contrary to Section 255 (3.1) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of April 15th, 2015, at The Ontario Court of Justice, Picton.
