OPP investigating two break-in reports at Rossmore

Officers with the Ontario Provincial Police Prince Edward County detachment are investigating two break and enter incidents early Monday morning in Rossmore.
“The police investigation revealed the incident occurred during the early morning hours, the residents were home at the time and a number of electronic devices were stolen,” said Anthony Mann, Prince Edward OPP Community Services Officer. “The OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and OPP Canine Unit were activated. Officers searched the area, however police were unable to locate the suspect(s).”
The OPP since learned of a second break and enter into a near-by home. The OPP Forensic Identification Unit is assisting in these investigations.
