Panther pride was in full force Thursday afternoon as just under 800 students and staff were invited to participate in the annual Terry Fox Run supporting the Canadian Cancer Society. They raised $1,918.
Students from Grades 7 to 12 stood together for a group photograph marking the first time they were all together for a charity event. Prince Edward County OPP Community Services officer Pat Menard and Cst. Jason Chin-Leung also participated.
Runners, led by PEC OPP Cst. Jason Chin-Leung on his bicycle, headed from the back of the school to the Millennium Trail.
The Panther mascot walked among the students, cheering them for their dedication to the cause.
