PEC Relay for Life final tally $204,589

Tina Rutgers and Chris Skinner present Prince Edward County Relay for Life co-chairman Jim Vince with $1,000 toward the 2011 Canadian Cancer Society PEC Relay for Life. The donation was made by Scotiabank’s head office in recognition of the outstanding efforts of the Picton branch in the local relay. Scotiabank Picton, as event sponsor and dream team participant contributed more than $8,400 bringing this year’s event total to $204,589. “This is simply an outstanding achievement considering our goal was $190,000,” said Vince. “We have already begun our planning for 2012. The dates have been set as June 8th and 9th.”
