On Tuesday, Dec. 6th PECI students performed a short play called Camouflage at the Quinte Alternatives For Women’s annual general meeting.
The performance was a polished reading with 34 tableaus encapsulating what it means to be a by-stander, abuser and abused in our society.
The performance was met with roaring applause and a series of excellent questions and comments. The 10 students spanned from Grades 9 to 12 – including Miranda Boultbee, Riley Bovay, Marianne Cameron, Randy Chance, Haley Ferguson, Mitchell Hayes, Keelan Hill, Carly Howard, Mariah Lammes, and Alison Stenhouse. These students met with Matt Sheahan in the drama room for six weeks to prepare for this moving performance.
