The Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and recent graduates of Prince Edward Collegiate Institute (PECI) collaborated in a community engagement project to bring motivation to the detachment gym.
During the 2020-2021 school year, students from a Grade 12 art class – Tally Wilkinson, Mia Gilbert and Sarah Johnson – assisted with designing and implementing a mural to drive detachment members’ motivation to remain fit for duty while protecting the community they serve.
“The detachment would like to thank the students for their hard work throughout this amazing partnership,” said Const. Aaron Miller, Community Safety, Media Relations officer.
