Pedestrian struck by truck has died

UPDATE DEC. 18 – The victim, 76-year-old Russell Armstrong, was transported to Kingston General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries Dec. 15, 2017.
The driver of the truck, a 63-year-old male from Trenton was not injured in the incident. No charges were laid regarding this incident.
NOV 29 – A 76-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries after he was struck by a pick up truck in downtown Wellington Tuesday, Nov. 28.
Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward Detachment are investigating the incident. Cst. Kim Guthrie reports he walked onto the roadway between two parked cars and was struck by the westbound vehicle.
The victim was transported to Kingston General Hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries. The driver of the truck, a 63-year-old man from Trenton, was not injured in the incident.
