Picton Firefighters Association helps PEC OPP jam the cruiser for Jamaica

The Picton Firefighters’ Association supported the Prince Edward County OPP’s recent Jam the Cruiser event for Jamaican disaster relief, with a donation of $1,000. The initiative was to collect donations to help those impacted by the recent Hurricane Melissa. Along with cash, the campaign sought items such as flour, parboiled rice, canned meats (corned beef, tuna, sardines, chicken, sausages), canned corn, Kraft dinner, Mr Noodles, salt/pepper/garlic powder/onion powder/thyme powder, sugar, solar lights, solar flashlights, solar chargers/power banks, tarps, ropes and tools such as screwdrivers and hammers.
