The Picton Pirates used a three goal outburst in the second period to top the Campbellford Rebels 5-2 and snap a four game slide on Thursday night.
Tyler Kearns snapped home a pair of goals while Jeff Kingdon, Ryan Sizer and Jesse Lloyd all had singles.
Matt Kaludis stopped 34 of 36 shots in picking up Picton’s 4th win of the season.
“Top to bottom, it was a complete effort,” Pirates GM Jason Parks said. “Our starts in the first and second period weren’t great, but we seemed to finish each period very well.”
Picton looks to extend the winning streak to two on Saturday when they are in Port Hope to take on the Panthers. Picton’s next home action is Thursday when they lock horns with the Amherstview Jets.
