Pre-order Perfectly Preserved goodies for the Thanksgiving Table

Perfectly Preserved comes to the end of a busy summer making and selling record numbers of pickled asparagus, dills, relish and more.

This year, this bustling branch of the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary made more than 3,000 jars of preserves including 138 litres of dill pickles, 319 jars of marmalade and more than 150 jars of strawberry jam. And they aren’t finished yet.

Anne Kaukonen helps to prep a record number of jars of pickled asparagus.

As their Sunday sales at the Picton Town Hall Farmers Market wind down with the end of summer, the red-aproned volunteers begin preparations for their biggest-ever Thanksgiving sale set for Saturday, Oct. at Rotary Hall in the Picton Fairgrounds.
