Provincial Bay of Quinte all-candidates debates include one virtual event

Three in-person and one virtual all-candidates debates are set for the five Bay of Quinte provincial candidates ahead of the June 2 election.

Bay of Quinte Riding candidates are:
Todd Smith, Conservative party
Alison Kelly, NDP party
Emilie Leneveu, Liberal party
Erica Charlton, Green party
Rob Collins, New Blue party
Noah Wales Ontario Party

MAY 17: The Quinte West Chamber of Commerce hosting Tuesday, May 17 at Heroes Landing Banquet Hall and Conference Centre at 57 Stella Crescent, Trenton.

Doors open at 6 p.m. to meet with candidates in the lobby until 7 p.m. A structured question and answer session follows from 7-9 p.m.

MAY 19: The Belleville Chamber of Commerce to host at the Empire Theatre Thursday, May 19 with doors opening at 6 p.m.

There will not be questions from the floor, but they will be collected from the public upon entry at the venue. The debate is expected to be held from 7-8:45 p.m.

MAY 24: On Tuesday, May 24, candidates will meet in a virtual debate hosted by United Way Hastings & Prince Edward and Youth2Youth HPE Tuesday, May 24 from 6 to 8 p.m.

MAY 24-27: The Prince Edward County Chamber of Commerce will host Facebook live and Instagram conversations May 24 to 27 at 8:30 a.m. – speaking with candidates of the Liberal, Conservative, NDP and Green parties. @PECChamber and @pec_chamber

Candidates are to respond to questions on an equitable COVID-19 recovery, affordable housing, addiction and mental health, and the rising cost of living. They will be invited to describe how their parties will address these challenges.

MAY 30: The PEC Education Committee is hosting an all-candidates event Monday, May 30 from 6-9 p.m. at the Prince Edward Community Centre 375 Main St, Picton.
