QBL and soccer seasons open this week

May 25 is opening day of the Quinte Baseball League. For Rookie, Mosquito, Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget games schedules and rules, visit www.quintebaseballleague.com

The Prince Edward County Soccer Association opens its season this week. A Skills Development Clinic is set for Saturday, June 5th:
Beginners and Juniors   9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Intermediate and Seniors    9 a.m. – noon
at the PECI Soccer Fields.
All coaches, players, and parents are encouraged to attend this fun morning of soccer skills development.  There will be five separate stations focused on the following skills:
Shooting    Passing   Dribbling    Ball control    Goalkeeping
The groups will be broken into age-specific divisions.  Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and parents are encouraged to move with the groups from station to station to gain a greater understanding of these soccer skills.  Attending this clinic will help reinforce these skills in your coaching efforts, while presenting some fun and effective drills and games to instruct your players.  We look forward to seeing everyone there.
Free Shoe Exchange
PECSA will be offering a free Shoe Exchange during the Skills Development Clinic this year.  Parents and players are encouraged to drop off any shoes to make available to others at the start of the clinic.  Those needing shoes are welcome to select what they require.
